Sleeping on side vs. back vs. other side

Started by JamieD on 11/14/2019 12:53am

I am 3 weeks post a 7 level anterior and posterior T2 to C 2 decompression and fusions. Yes, the surgeries and the recovery so far sucks. My biggest issue is finding the ideal spot to bear an ounce of weight to sleep. The fusion sites are raw. The bone donor areas is pissed and Every inch of skin is cussing at me.
Any suggestions ?

After my surgery, I used the ice pack before going to sleep. This makes the area bit numb and pain free for some time. I slept on the back with no pillows .
