Can someone please help understand this:
.Mild straightening of the lumbar spine, secondary to paraspinal muscle spasm. Modic type II changes at opposing endplates of L5-S1 vertebrae levels.
.Disc desiccation along with reduced disc height at L5-S1.
.L3-L4: There is mild diffuse bulge of the disc causing thecal sac compression without any evidence of bilateral neuroforaminal stenosis. Bilateral exiting nerve roots are normal. Disc disease measures 1.5 mm.
.L4-L5: There is mild diffuse posterior disc bulge of disc at this level causing indentation over ventral subarachnoid space with evidence of bilateral neuroforaminal stenosis(L>R) and minimal indentation over bilateral exiting nerve roots. Disc pathology measures 2.2 mm.
.L5-S1: There is mild diffuse bulge along with central protrusion of the disc causing thecal sac compression with evidence of bilateral neuroforaminal stenosis. Bilateral exiting nerve roots are compressed. Disc disease measures 2.9 mm.
.Facet joints arthropathy at L4-L5 and L5-S1.
