Can u describe ur back/neck pain, and how long u've had it? What have u tried so far? What exactly is wrong with ur back and or neck? Have u seen anyone for it? Wish u the best with ur pain, just have to know more to help ya!! Ice and heat work well along with acupuncture.
Me too, in the past month I have realized just how many kinds of treatment there are-but it all depends on the problem. So I guess going to the doctor for a good workup is the best start! I see myself facing some decisions this week. Good luck to you.
One of the best ways that I think helps most people with neck pain, especially chronic neck pain, is with exercise. These should be low impact exercises done with resistance bands if possible. Focus on trying to strengthen the cervical flexors (the muscles in front of your neck) and stretch the extensors (the muscles in the back of your neck). If done consistently, you may be feeling better within a few weeks. You will also notice that your range of motion improves when you exercise these muscles.
Best Regards
