Sciatica and Dry feet
Does anyone have any idea of whether or not a dry foot can develop if it stays numb. My right foot stay numb constantly and it stay REALLY DRY to the point where the pad of my big toe actually split. Any info on this would be appreciated. I was recently told that I have a disc herniation at L5 which is causing my leg pain and numbness.

i actually just had emergency laminectomy almost a month ago exactly because of disc herniation at L4 L5, L5 S1 and i also had numbness and excruciating crippling pain from the waist down and was no longer able to urinate without the help of a catheter prior to surgery. after my surgery my left foot is still numb [doc. says its gonna take some time to heal] but i have noticed that just like you my foot feels reeaally dry .i dont know why that is but i do find it really odd as well. atleast you know you're not the only one!
