Diagnosed: Lymphodemia

Started by Lahayle on 11/17/2014 9:49am

I noticed an enlargement on my right side beneath my hip on the outside. I asked my neurologist what this was? Well, he said, "Lymphoid edema." I asked him, (help me to find a doctor who knows) what does this mean? He said, It is a tumor with edema. I told him how painful this was and is affecting my quality of life. Now, it is getting larger and my right bum has a huge mass in which I can not sit or lean on my right side.

He told me if I did have surgery to remove it? I would never be able to walk again.

Please!!! Help me with finding the right Doctor, and worried about an old four wheeler accident in which I had the mass in my bum..yet not painful til now. This accident occurred in 2006.
Thanks, Lahayle
