Back pain with Hip locking out

Started by DannyCFM on 05/31/2017 5:56pm

I'm 18,and since I was little, k had scoliosis, but over the years, it has gotten worse, when I stand it looks like I'm making an s, I can only walk for 10 minutes before I have to sit down because of the pain, when it's cold or getting ready to rain, my hips lock out and hurt and I can't walk, my feet hurt if I stand up for too long, and if I sit more then 20 minutes, my back, my butt, my feet and my hips hurt really bad. Does anyone have any advice on what's going on?

Hi, DannyCFM--thanks for your post. We are sorry to hear about the pain you're experiencing--it can truly affect your quality of life when even the simplest things like walking or sitting are hard to do because of your pain.

We aren't medical professionals, but we'd like to share this content about sacroiliac joint pain that you may be interested in: ( Sacroiliac Joint Animation ). When you described your hip pain, this made us wonder if your SI joint could be causing some problems. If any of the information in this resource seems similar to what you're experiencing, perhaps it's worth bringing this up to your doctor.

Speaking of, your doctor is the only one who can get to the bottom of your pain, so we hope you are able to see him/her soon to get a diagnosis and treatment plan. We wish you the very best of luck!
