29 year old male with scoliosis

Started by Mscott1989 on 01/08/2019 6:51pm

Hi I'm 29 I was diagnosed at 14-15 with scoliosis I started with a 32/30 degree mid and lower spine curve my last review was at 19-20 by which time it progressed to 43/41 then my gp refused to send me for any more reviews by my specialist and now for the past 2 years I've had daily back pain to the point I don't even want to move because it hurts so much but my gp continues to tell me its not possible for the pain to be from my scoliosis which I'm starting to think is total bs so I contacted my specialist directly to ask him what I should do hopefully I can get more sense out of my specialist

Hi I'm a 32 yr old woman with scoliosis due to pregnancy associated osteoporosis I too have daily pain which must be due to the scoliosis not the osteo as I haven't had any recent fracture s in my spine it's a daily struggle and I'm almost certain it's down to the curvatures in my spine some days I don't get up or even attempt to it's so difficult and I totally hear you my gp fobs me off and I'm under specialists but don't ever seem to get anywhere what pain relief have they given u if any
