Recurring pain years after spinal fusion

Started by Jenigypsy on 02/22/2019 3:19pm

I had cervical fusion on C5 and C6 20 years ago and now I'm having extreme pain beginning from behind my ear all the way down my left arm to my thumb and also all the way down my spine down my sciatic nerve all the way down to my ankle on my left side I'm in the beginning phases of treatment I'm not sure what to do the doctors won't give me anything for pain they tried Neurontin or Gabapentin and I have a severe reaction to that medication causes me to be confused and disoriented and have anxiety and panic attacks and sinks me into severe depression any suggestions on what I can do for pain relief since the doctors will not help me with that I have tried massages and that provides only very temporary relief
