Shoulder blade pain

Started by SHERRY44 on 03/10/2017 7:49pm

This pain I can't stand anymore... has anyone had pain from one shoulder blade to the other? It's at the very end of them. Feels like your back is breaking into. I have fibro, osteoporosis, degenerative disc disease. I cannot find any doctor in our area that will take me serious. Please help me..... Thank you

Hi, Sherry44--thanks for taking the time to post. We are sorry to hear about your pain and that your medical team isn't acknowledging it. Shoulder blade pain is commonly associated with upper back and neck pain, so that's discouraging that your experience isn't being taken seriously.

While we don't know much about your pain, we wonder if it's related to rhomboid muscle strain. These muscles help your shoulder blades move, and they can cause pain between the shoulder blades when they're strained. You can read more about it here: ( Take Charge of Your Upper Back Pain )

Additionally, you deserve a medical team you trust. Have you checked out our doctor finder tool: https://www.spineuniverse.com/locate/spe... ? It can help connect you to qualified spine specialists near you.

Keep us posted on how you're doing--and we hope you get some answers and relief soon!
