straightening of cervical spine and multiple marginal anterior and posterior osteophytes with decreased c5 c6 intervertebral space
hello,my mother age is 54 years and suddenly she complains of having severe vertigo while lying down on bed and there were no signs of vertigo while sitting or standing, neurologist prescribed some medicines for getting relief in vertigo after taking those medicines she can lie down on bed but now also she is complaining of vertigo of less intensity while moving her head or changing her posture.Reports of ct scanand xray show that ct scan is normal but there is straightening of cervical spine and multiple marginal anterior and posterior osteophytes with decreased c5 c6 intervertebral space(there are no past history of head injuries or head aches) pls suggest what to do,is it a severe problem and how it can be treated.
