Spondylolisthesis to DDD

Started by Tala2016 on 12/31/2016 9:29am

Hello everyone. I was diagnosed with suspicious grade 1 spondylolisthesis L4/L5 last Dec. 2015 through my cervico thoraxic xray for my scoliosis. Since then it wasn't properly given attention so I felt lumbar pain for a year now. Few days ago, I went to another orthepedic doctor . He asked me to do lumbar xray, the one laying down and facing sideward. After seeing the result , no signs of spondylolisthesis is seen. He told me I don't have spondylolisthesis but asked me to do a lumbar MRI because of his suspision of degenerative disc disease.

Is it possible that I don't have spondylolisthesis? Does the traction helps in realigning it? I did traction for the treatment of my scoliosis. Or should I request for another xray like flexion extension xray before doing an MRI?

Any help from you guys will be much appreciated.
