Hello all. I feel like a complete lunatic and pushed off by my neurosurgeon because “I cannot make any money off of you.” He said to go to a place where doctors work on salary and can spend time with me. He said start with neurology. I’ve been poked, prodded, tested and sent from one to the next. After, being diagnosed with fibromyalgia, I had a plan to just get trigger injections in the worst areas. This includes, but is not limited to, my hip, Feet, knees, lumbar and T-Spine. For the past month I have been unable to turn my head to the right and have severe pain just below the base of my skill on the right It would come and fiband is now there all of the time. I also have severe neuropathy in my hands and feet. I’m at my wits end My surgery made me feel great for five weeks. On week five, I crashed (due to the decadron leaving my system?). But, now, even though I’ve said for years, something is wrong, I can’t move my neck. This all started surge the severe thoracic pain (which my neurosurgeon said was from my neck)....that’s much better! Even before the surgery, I did not have neck pain. Read your records, I have found that with the new electronic records, some doctors put in that they have checked things, when they did not even assess them. Apparently, documentation doesn’t matter to them. Also, bring someone with you. Mr “I can’t make money off of you.” Sent me to neurology, but documented, I would follow up with rheumatology. Anyone have fibromyalgia after this surgery? Anyone unable to move their neck years after surgery? I’m in the fence as to whether to waste my time at a doctors. They all push me away.

Hello Broken RN, broken LPN here. I developed fibromyalgia after 3 injuries that involved my neck. I had been missing some work (sooo unlike me) dt headaches....went in for treatment and could not handle PT (or at least the visit I had), and that was it for me. Actually I can pinpoint the start and it was definately the 3Rd injury.
S o for me not the surgery but the injury.
