Tingling and numb hands and fingers

Started by JEP on 11/16/2018 11:27pm

My first cervical stenosis surgery/fusion 5 disk was 9 months ago. I had no lasting symptoms. Then another disk went and fusion was 1 week ago. My balance is back, but I can not stand my hands. The tingling and numbness is driving me nuts. The doctor/nurses weren't as worried about my hands as they were about my balance...why? It started about 6 weeks ago, and I had surgery 5 weeks after it started. I am going crazy thinking i may have to live like this. They feel like ants crawling around and i cant stop crying. Please can anyone give me some hope? The doctors and nurses said it will get better, but take time... but it is hard to believe. HELP!

Thank you, 2.5 weeks out, my balance is better, but not 100%. My numb hands are still there sometimes better sometimes worse. And my feet tingle on and off. I apppreciate your kind response!
