Back and Neck

Started by sara on 08/12/2010 7:30am

I had cervical surgery 10 yrs ago. One pin in neck.
Had back surgery 3 and 4 yrs ago. At the bottom of my back (cant remember #s) Have 2 pins.
I am 69 yrs old. I try to swim and bike every day...That helps the best for me.
Stretches help but Im not faithful in doing them. I love the outdoors so there is where I am.
I have to watch any lifting. And try to slow myself down so I do not twist/jerk my back to stir up anything. When I do disturb my back....I depend on advils and ICEPACKS...and LYING DOWN.
I live in Fl. so the humidity is bad... Take care of your back. My neck is no problem because of swimming laps.
