help understanding mri results
I just got my results back on June 30, 2015 and I found out I have mild dextroconvex scoliosis. But I don't understand the limited bone marrow signal. Can someone please translate this to me so I can understand this mumble jumble.
REPORT
Technique: multiplanar multisequence acquisitions without contrast including 3D FRFSE
Findings: spinal cord is unremarkable and the conus lies at T12-L1. There is no significant thoracic disc desiccation but there is limited bone marrow signal alteration [Modic I] lateral aspect T8 and T9 vertebral bodies on either side the disc space opposite the apex of a mild dextroconvex scoliosis. There is no disc extrusion, canal stenosis, or significant foraminal narrowing.
Conclusion: Mild Dextroconvex Scoliosis
