Pregnant with scoliosis

Started by CarolineV on 10/30/2018 6:57am

I will be 21 weeks pregnant tomorrow. I had my second scoliosis operation 28 November 2017 so I now have 2 rods and 20 screws in my back, a lot of family members have their opinions but I would like to know if there is any ladies that have scoliosis that might have answers/advise/confirm i.r.t the below.

* I have a standard sales job so I sit most of my day, I already have back pain and sacrum (I think that's what its called) and my in-
laws does not think I will be able to work though my whole pregnancy due to pain?
* Both hubby and I are afraid to try natural birth and prefer a c-section, is a c-section recommended since I have scoliosis? or for
the amount of rods and crews I have?
* Will I be able to get an epidural? They have put cement in my back with my 1st operation (11) which was 10 years ago but am n
not sure if they did again with my second opp or if it is still there?

Sorry for the long post, hoping to get some advice.

Kind regards
